Saltanat specializes in intellectual property and corporate law, providing legal advisory services across a broad range of issues. Her professional experience includes structuring various transactions, drafting transactional documentation, supporting deal closures, and advising on the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including, but not limited to, issues of copyright, licensing, data protection, as well as AIFC law.
Prior to joining the Zan Hub team, Saltanat worked as junior associate at the international law firm Dentons Kazakhstan and also gained experience working at the multinational company Huawei.

Practical experience
- Advising on customs recordkeeping for IP objects in Kazakhstan as well as on parallel (grey) imports
- Advising on copyright and licensing issues, as well as on issues of relations with authorship societies in Kazakhstan and various data privacy issues
- Advising on regulatory issues of Internet and mass media legislation
- Support of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including the preparation of transactional documents, coordination and obtaining of regulatory approvals, conducting comprehensive legal due diligence, and facilitating signing and closing processes
- Advising on opening companies in Kazakhstan, including issues of obtaining Kazakhstan local licenses and permits
- Advising various international and local companies on a wide range of issues related to the legislation of Kazakhstan
