Elena has 30 years of experience in legal profession. Apart from many years of experience as a Senior Associate in an international law firm (Dentons), Elena served at senior positions at the prosecutor's office (from a prosecutor to a Deputy Head of Department position) and in one of major second tier banks in Kazakhstan as a Deputy Director of Legal Department, where she headed the bank’s claims and litigation practice.
Elena specializes in litigation and arbitration, antitrust, labor and corporate law. The dispute resolution experience includes, among others, legal representation (of the clients’ interests) in commercial, debt collection, indemnification, contractual invalidation, corporate, antitrust and other disputes as well as enforcement proceedings, including on recognition of foreign arbitration and foreign courts awards.

Participation in various civil disputes, preparation of all documents required at all stages, from risk analysis to execution of a court decision (claim, complaint, petition, etc.).

Initiation and participation in consideration of administrative cases of any category, preparation of documents for the court and the authorized body (complaints, petitions, etc.).
- Participation in rehabilitation and bankruptcy proceedings, at all stages, including recognition of insolvency, invalidation of transactions, pre-trial disputes with administrators of procedures, appealing against decisions of general meetings of creditors, decisions of administrators of procedures, etc.
- Participation in various debt recovery cases (return of a principal loans, fines and penalties), and in related criminal cases on defamation (as a representative of third party – legal entity).
- Participation in cases on debt collection from guarantors, including through pre-trial settlement (conclusion of pre-trial settlement agreements, mediation agreements), foreclosure on property of debtors and guarantors, interaction with private enforcement officers.
- Participation in various arbitration proceedings (including at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the AIFC International Arbitration Center).
